I mean... it's a beet chip. It's not exactly a lays potato chip, but I got what I asked for. These are healthy snacks. They are crisp and earthy and totally edible. They made my urine pinkish which caused me a moment of panic until I remembered that beets do that. I don't exactly crave these, but when I'm hungry and just need to munch on something these are an easy go-to. I noticed that if you let them sit (unopened) for too long they start to get a little stale. I would recommend not letting them sit on the shelf for too long.

Originally i picked these up at the grocery store. I jumped on amazon to order some more. I find them absolutely delicious but i love beets. Someone said they taste like dirt, not true. They have the same earthy taste as beets, just i think more concentrated by the drying and salting. I love the crispy, crunchy texture. Satisfied my urge to snack yet is healthy. I wish they were cheaper, but I'll be ordering more nonetheless.

This product has a weird earthy taste/flavor. I'm thinking maybe the beets were not throughly washed before processing? I'm not one that takes time to send it back, so I threw them out. I can't go the dirt like flavor.A local retailer occasionally sells another no salt brand...has only a beet flavor, and is delicious. I require no salt due to having 1 kidney. Looking for more no salt beets!

I love beet chips by Rhythm Superfoods. They are crunchy, taste lightly of beet and add something to a salad when you don't want to add crackers or croutons (sometimes I eat them like a melba toast, sometimes I use the smaller bits more like croutons adding crunch to a salad).I prefer the beet chips with sea salt but even the plain (naked) are quite tasty. They are expensive (about $3.75 for 40 grams/1.4 oz.) and I'm sure I could make them in my dehydrator easily but alas the ease of buying them all ready made overcomes me.Think of these beet chips as an occasional treat and not an every day item and you will love them.

I ordered these because I bought a bag at Rolling Oats. These ones had a rancid oil taste and were very greasy. The package looks the same but the product is not. My experience.

Delicious and healthy but a bit pricey

I really want to like these chips and I would have except they taste rancid. The Best Buy date is July 2024 so they should taste fresh but they don’t. Seller might want to check the quality and shelf life of the oils used in production and possibly upgrade storage facility. Of course no return allowed so I’m SOL.

I read other reviews which indicated they tasted earthy or dirty... and yes, the plain beets do have a finish flavor that is earthy. I like it, but have been eating very clean for a while. I also loved that they were crispy (like a chip, without the fat). I would love if the beets were more separate, several were on top of each other, but it did not make them hard to eat. I am trying to cut down on food, so more bites is better. I will continue to purchase in any case. They help if I am starving, and want something to tide me over and not break my diet.
