I retired from a job that required an extremely sharp knife. For the last two years I relented to the sharpness of disposable blades. A whetstone block, on my toolbox, became too time consuming. Now that I have the time I have sharpened all my old knives. They will cut paper, disposables will not.

Consult the headline. The stones are exactly as advertised. Price was very reasonable. I use these stones for improving the accuracy and reliability of firearms. Good assortment!

Probably okay for a few uses, but I found that my examples crush, deform, and lose their coating quickly.

Nice stones for a nice price

Overall these are pretty good stones for the price. I don’t see them lasting very long tho as they wear down quickly. All and all they’re handy little stones to have around the house. I found keeping one in my truck is great for quick touch ups on an axe.

The media could not be loaded.  Very skinny stones. Description says they are wet stones but on the stones is says GRINDING OIL STONES. So can someone tell me whether to use water or should I use oil when sharpening knives?

PROS, nice stones, easy to use correct size for me, very good selection of grit. CONS, stones are softer than expected so may not last very long.

Not bad

These wear down exceedingly fast and don't remove a lot of material compared to the abrasive loss. Don't expect to true up any surface with those.The grits are also somewhat innacurate, but that's to be expected...
