Works after some re-configuring
Had trouble mounting it to my MTB handlebar securely and the bottom bracket cracked in half due to the torque required to keep it in place. I didn't really like how far outboard I had to mount it anyway (due to the conical shape of the bars close to the stem). Then it struck me that the ball joint allowed me to rotate the mount 90 degrees and attach it to the stem using heavy duty zip ties (which is how the Garmin factory mount is attached). Problem solved, now the GPS is centered on the bars and the mount is solid.

Great service - Terrible Product... Times Two.
Ordered this item and was amazed at how quickly it shipped and arrived from the West Coast to New York. Attempted to mount the GPS holder into the ball mount.... could not do it eventually the neck on the ball mount sheared off. It is as if the ball were designed for a larger socket. Called the company and requested a return/exchange. Great service, pleasant to deal with and within a few minutes I had an email with a return label, postage paid to return the item. I also asked for them to assemble the two parts for me thinking perhaps I was missing some knack or trick. So far so good. Received the replacement (not assembled as requested) and, alas, same problem, fit much too tight and could barely get the ball into the socket. When I finally succeeded in popping it in - THE COLLAR ON THE GPS HOLDER DEVELOPED A CRACK! Not sure who manufactures these things but there is absolutely a design problem. Shame, because it is a very useful concept and there does not seem to a reasonably priced substitute out there in web-land based on what I have found but this one does not cut it! Price is great but if it doesn't work, no matter how reasonably priced it's not worth it. I have requested a return for credit and am awaiting return authorization.

Bicycle Mount for my new Garmin 650t
This mount clamps on the bicycle handlebar well but when I went to snap on the holder it would not snap in. As I worked it on one of the plastic finger's inside broke. Not too happy with the way this went together and I wire tied it on to the bracket so it would hold. Not thrilled but it still will hold my GPS after some work.

((
broken lug attachment on the second day, will replace him on the metal because the device I like,I put on a garmin gps Bicycle frame closer to the steering wheel and there he is in a good location..so after replacing mounting on metal,it will already be fixed strong and will not break...put a little star iza that broke the mount, and verbally put 4 stars for convenient geometry

This works best on paved routs without a lot of bumps
Met expectations. This works best on paved routs without a lot of bumps. Stays secured to handlebar, however the weight of the Garmin device combined with the bumps of off-road will make the ball mount move (no way to tighten). Probably not an ideal device that can keep this unit in one set position when riding trails, so keep that in mind regarding expectations.

Not as good as I thought it would be
It's easy enough to hook onto the handle bars of the bike but hooking the ball and socket joint together was initially very difficult (like they weren't designed to fit together) and now it falls off with a very slight touch. It essentially is not very good after a few weeks and so I'd continue looking for an Oregon solution. This is not it.

Does what it says
I had this on my motorcycle and now have it on my bike. It holds my garmin trek 30 wonderfully and even have a place to tie a tether in case it falls off (which happens when you jump your bike or move your handlebars abruptly).
