Kids BJJ GI, Elite Sports Youth IBJJF Children’s Brazilian Jiujitsu Gi kimono W/Preshrunk Fabric & Free Belt

The pants for this Gi come with an elastic waistband like a toddler might need (1st picture), not the loop system waistband with rope drawstring that is shown on the Elite website (2nd picture). I contacted Elite about this, and they said the pants they ship directly, in fact do come with the loop system waistband with rope drawstring, but whoever is shipping from Amazon must have a different version. Not ideal. I'm beginning to wonder if 'Elite Sports LLC' on Amazon is even associated with the Gi manufacturer - Elite Sports?

My A1 Elite Sports lightweight gi was a little too large after shrinking and ordered a C3 to see if that would fit. I'm 5'2" and 140 lbs and it's a little big in the waist still but outside of that the gi is perfect. The one item I was surprised to see was that the pants have both a stretch band and a drawstring. Thought this was an interesting feature and from training in it I actually like it better than strictly drawstring gi pants. So, I would definitely recommend the C3 if the A1 sits just a bit too large.

I have this in Pink, Blue and Black. I bought a Adult size and a boys size in the blue and in the black. The blue look fine don't collect much lint on the pants or the jacket. The Black though is a totally different story, they look HORRIBLE and no amount of dryer sheets or lint rollers can help them. I also bought a little girls in Pink and it is still awesome No lint issues just the stupid black! If you buy these DON'T buy the black.Other than that these are Great, durable, do not shrink easy (but I would never suggest drying a BJJ jacket in heat, but one time my blue uniform got dried on heat and it shrunk just a little but barely can tell.

Idk what kinda flash flooding, rainforest living Elite sports has to deal with on a daily basis to make short pant legs to practice jiu jitsu but I’m jealous. Do y’all get to practice with fish nipping at your toes? That’s so cool. Why are the legs so short tho?? I thought maybe they were 2 diff sizes but they were both c2. Other than the perma-cuffed capri pants, the material is nice and it comes with a belt. As fun as the long shorts are, I’ll have to return this gi for something else.

My kids love their new gis! Don't let the price fool you. They are high quality and lightweight! I will purchase more colors for them and plan to get a couple for myself as well in the near future! Buy this gi!Sizes from left to right in photo is C00, C0, C1

This BJJ Gi is an excellent value. I really like that is has elastic waistband with a drawstring.I made a modification where I replaced the stock cotton drawstring with 1/8 inch purple shock cord. I also put heat shrink at the ends twice to seal it. The shock cord is the same length as the stock cotton draw string, but seems too long. I’ll probably cut and shorten it later.When I first received the Gi, it seemed too stiff like it had been starched before it shipped. After a handful of washes, it has softened up a bit. Also, the heat shrink didn’t melt or come undone.Being honest, I prefer the Vulcan BJJ Gi for kids as I believe it breathes better and is softer. The Vulcan is a 100 percent cotton versus Elite Sport’s 60/40 cotton/polyester blend.However, the Elite Sports BJJ Gi is less than half the price of the Vulcan ($40 vs $ 90/$100), but definitely not half the quality.Most importantly, my daughter likes her new Elite Sports Gi and gives it a thumbs up.

My son really likes the color, the fabric is nice and lightweight and softer than others in this price range. Seems it will hold up esp. for kids. Sharp patches and logo.The only thing is the cut of the Gi, the arms seem really short and wide. When he wears it it is not so apparent, but compared to my and my daughters Gis, where the sleeves join the body of the Gi seems big, maybe this will make for easier movement, and I guess the sleeves will be harder to grab as they are shorter as well. As I said, not as noticeable when he is wearing it. I think all C size has same cut, they just make the arms different length so the smaller ones this may be more noticeable. Pants are perfect size wise.

I got my Elite Sports gi about a week and a half ago, so I'm writing this review after it has been worn and washed. I ordered the C3 for myself because I'm a pretty tiny adult female. I'm so happy with it, it fits much better than any other gi I own, including the gi I have specifically cut for women. It did shrink slightly when I dried it, but I did that on purpose with the dryer on high because I have short arms. This gi is so comfortable and pretty lightweight. I'm already planning on getting another one or two so I can minimize my trips to the laundromat. Oh yea and the prices! You really can't beat them, I feel like an idiot for buying more expensive gis when this one is just right!

The sizing for the Size C00 is off. Measuring against the chart, it is 2 sizes larger. ALso the shoulder patches are missing from the item i received. The other item i got is the royal blue one and that is fine, but the pink is not.

Perfect for our jiu jitsu classes.
