Works, but not perfect
I just installed this screen protector after my stock Samsung film type got a ding in it. I thought my screen was chipped, so I decided to get a tempered glass one to replace it. Fortunately, I found that the phone's screen was not chipped after peeling it off.I've actually never believed in using screen protectors in the past after owning smartphones since the original Droid. I've never broken a phone screen in my life. At least not on purpose. I tried using a Zagg type on my S7 Edge or S8+ (Don't remember which). It was a curved screen like the S10+ which means any type of film screen protector just comes undone especially with a case. As long as you buy a decent case and you're not clumsy with your phone, you should never crack the screen. Of course, unexplained occurrences can happen at any time. The only screen protector I've used is a tempered glass type on my Tab S3. It's definitely much harder to install than a phone. The Floval tempered glass screen protector is one of the better ones that I've seen on Amazon with decent features and reviews. I wanted one without the fingerprint hole and one that would protect the front cameras. I believe the easy frame installer definitely makes it easier to install than others. The problem I found was that lint kept getting stuck in the sides if you don't apply the protector quick enough. I kept taking the frame off to clean it multiple times. I think if you ignore the trapped link, it may not interfere with the protector, but I wasn't taking the chance. I did have to pull it up once to remove a couple pieces of lint with tape.My two big issues after finishing the application and using it was the fingerprint adhesive and the size of the protector. As you can see in the photos, the fingerprint adhesive does show in lighter colors more. I know picking it up once didn't help, but I don't regret getting that lint out. You'll definitely have to redo your fingerprints afterwards. You can also see that both sides are lined up properly and evenly show the screen that's not protected. I understand that they may have done this to keep from interfering with cases. My only suggestion would be to not make the borders on the side black and just leave it clear. I also did find myself picking up the screen when trying to remove my case. Make sure you hold down the screen protector if you need to remove your case for any reason. (I'm using the Poetic Rugged Clear)This is probably a longer review than necessary. Considering that this was a $1000 phone when I bought it, why not? If these little things continue to bother me, I'll end up ripping it off and just not using a protector like my previous phones. All in all it's a decent design for a tempered glass screen protector.

Pretty good for what it is, but with a few flaws
Honestly, I wanted to give this product a 4 or 5. Easy to install, VERY easy, the case idea is brilliant and makes placing the glass screen protector a piece of cake. However, there are some things that are just too much of an issue that brought down it's score.1) The fingerprint reader. I was looking for something that would work easily which this does do well. It looks like this screen protector gets away without the liquid glue and without having a cutout hole by placing some glue around the fingerpint area and having the user push the glue over the fingerprint area to fill it in. However I took a star off because after applying the glue over the fingerprint reader, it ended up looking like a foggy smudge under the circle. While it's not glaring under direct vision and good lighting, any off angle looks and you can see the stuff beneath the screen look as if you're looking through a dirty glass.2) The touch screen itself. This was where this product is weakest. While trying to balance being case compatible, the dark edges where the adhesive is is a little to small. ie: after application, I can see light bleeding from around the edges. This screen protector actually cuts out the edges of your screen reducing your total screen size. This alone I would have given the product 4 stars, but the major flaw is the way it feels. Instead of curving the edges so you have a smooth user experience. The glass is cut hard. Ie: it catches on your finger/clothes etc quite easily and gives it a rough feeling. The screen also lacks an oleophobic coating and is a magnet for fingerprints. In the end, I'd say this is a very promising product. With more glue around the fingerprint area so it fills it in completely without the blurry smudging and smoother edges, bigger size glass to ensure coverage over the gap and have the dark areas line up with the phone's natural edge would make this product the BEST glass screen protector on the market for the s10 series. Unfortunately as it is, it still falls a little short. Would I buy again? Probably, but I think the default plastic protector is still better. Finally, some tip on installation:If you get rainbowing, it means you pressed down too hard, the glass screen protector is meant to have a small gap as the adhesive is only along the edge where it is dark. Therefore, after installing and waiting a few hours, gently use a suction cup over the rainbowing area to slightly lift it, then remove the suction. Should get it nice a clear again. For the fingerprint, it takes a few days for the glue to settle, then delete and re-add your fingerprints and it should work fine.

Saved my phone!
*UPDATE* so I have now gone through 5 of these same covers, and while they have done a great job protecting my phone screen, they crack sooo easily!! I do drop my phone a lot, but I seriously cannot keep one of these screen protectors uncracked for more than a week! I came on Amazon to find a different brand to try, and they all have terrible reviews. I think it is just the stupid curved edges of the Samsung that make a glass screen protector so hard to make for it. And now this screen protector is out of stock, so I cant reorder this one either, so I guess I will just live with my cracked one for a while until I find a decent option...*ORIGINAL REVIEW*At first, I hated this screen protector. It never read my fingerprint and I was getting so fed up I initiated a return with Amazon to return it after about a week. Then I got the thought (duh) to redo my fingerprint in the settings app. After I did that, it started reading my fingerprint no problem, surprisingly even better than before I had the screen protector (before that I had the factory film that came on the phone). What made me come on and give a 5 star review was that today I dropped my phone for the who knows how manyth time, and smashed this glass screen protector pretty good. Both corners on one side were spider webbed, and there were long cracks that went across the screen. My heart dropped, and I anxiously removed my phone case to assess the damage. Shocked and so relieved, the glass screen on my phone escaped unharmed! After taking a few pictures to share here for a review, next thing I did was order myself a new one of these to put on! 5 stars!
