Hello Amazonias!I purchased this pair of digital thermometers to supplement my hard-to-read old-school mercury thermometer because my old refrigerator finally died and I wasn't in a position to purchase a new one soon. I wanted to monitor the temperature of my coolers to ensure my food didn't spoil even though there was ice in the cooler.Originally, I bought them because of the good price and the very easy-to-read digits. But I quickly learned how very relevant and extremely useful the feature of tracking my HIGH and LOW temperatures is!For example, if you ever lose power for an extended period and you're away (like on vacation) but the power returns while you're gone, at least you'll know how high the temperature got (since presumably it'll be ok by the time you get home and open the refrigerator and your thermometer reads 35 degrees ("all good" like my old thermometer).Brilliant, and a game-changer!

Accurate. The hanger does not work for some fridges because some fridges don’t have wire shelves or anything to hang it from.

thry work very well. the only complaint {If you can call it a complaint} they are too accurate. Put on in small fridge. The analog said 45 degree, found it was 38 degrees

This is an easy to read thermometer that is a good size: not to bulky, nor too small to see easily.The highest temp measured memory feature is important, as it let's me know if the freezer shut down for a time ue to powr outage and the food potentially thawed and then re-froze. Important for food safety. I can see the internal temp reached in memory at a glance and know if unsafe Temps were reached.Very easy to use. Still to early to tell of battery life is good.Hooks on wire rack, and hangs in plain sight.Highly recommend.

Nice, easy to read thermometer. It can be hung from the rungs of the older style refrigerator racks or, with the hanger in the down position, placed on the shelf in the newer refrigerators with glass or plastic shelves. The battery is replaceable, and the thermometer came with a little screwdriver to unscrew the battery compartment when replacement is needed (a CR2032 button battery). The thermometer can be turned off with the push of a button until needed, or left on all the time. I tried turning it on and off only when needed, but decided that was a bit of a nuisance as the temperature in the refrigerator goes up when the door is open longer, so I have left it turned on for the past couple of months. That way I can see the temperature immediately on opening the refrigerator door. I think the battery, like a watch battery, will probably last for quite a while. It also shows the maximum and minimum temperature since it was last reset - handy if you are concerned about how well the refrigerator holds the temperature.
