Ghost Hunters (Ed & Lorraine Warren Book 2)

I became way more pleased in the stories and outcome of this book as I wasn't impressed with the first one. This book gave me what I was looking for...personal experiences of the Warrens. The first book gave historical background of their favorite state and stories from others, instead of their own investigations. I was so disappointed with the first book, it took three days to finish it, however, I was so wrapped up in this collection, it took only a few hours!! I would definitely recommend this book to those interested in the works of the Warrens!!!

I love reading the case files of Ed & Lorraine Warren! The first one I read was "The Demonologist", which I had years ago when I was in school. I was fascinated with the tales in there and it was where I was first introduced to "Annabelle."These new editions are much better than the versions I had in the past, with cleaner print, easier on the eyes. Several have photos that are much more clear than some of the previous editions.I am so glad these books are back in print, and in a pleasant, matching collection. Be sure to get all of them, and be ready for many chilling nights reading the spooky stories that will give you lots of restless sleep. :)

I am a big fan of Ed and Lorraine Warren, and their passionate, courageous career as paranormal investigators has always intrigued me. I think Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga portrayed them perfectly in The Conjuring Universe. Anyway, this book "Ghost Hunters" is a compilation of the more unknown cases conducted by them. Each case is about 10-15 pages long and there's 20 or so cases total in this book. They all feature different settings, people, backgrounds, and various paranormal culprits (ghosts, demons, poltergeists, etc). Each case is unique, intriguing, and overall creepy and page-turning. Some of the cases are also among the very first Ed and Lorraine conducted. This is definitely one of their most interesting books, especially since it's a bundle of their investigations wrapped into one. I highly recommend it as well as their other books!

Very well written book--I was afraid it would be cheesy by the tittle---but have heard reputation of this couple and they are very respectable people. They dedicated their lives to help people with actual problems and have paid the price on earth for this work. This couple is sincere-& did not start this as cheesy T.V. show to make quick and easy money. They were the real deal. They are deep in their devotion to God and gave up a lot to help other. I read the book in a day & 1/2---I plan to read to read all the books written by this gracious couple and about them. My niece has a small part in both Conjuring movies as the couples daughter. That got me interested in this---and I am very spiritual and am now reading a second book written about them.

The lovely couple offered a look into a life of ethical, disciplined work. They took their work very seriously and should be respected for the work, the interaction, and the results. I came away with new respect for them and hope that you will, too. They did not seek out fame or fortune, but rather to inform and educate on a myriad of subjects. Hats off to them and their lifetime of work that few would choose to take on, I think. Still, they did this and obtained results and helped so very many people. They were a true Godsend.

The narrator is wonderful. The book is well written. I follow (the late) Ed & Lorraine Warren's career and this is just another bullet point on their resume...an intriguing and page-turning bullet point! It kept my interest from the first to the last page! If you enjoy true, supernatural stories about ghost hunting and demonology, this is the perfect book for you!

This is one of the worst written books I've ever read, the format was awful. The stories themselves seemed like nothing but self serving pats on the back. The chapter about Jane Seymour was about Lorraine sort of meeting her......had no relevance as a ghost story of any kind. Skip this one, it's not worth the read. 👎

I've been intrigued by the paranormal for quite some time & a fan of the Warrens as well. I enjoyed this book very much, but have say it would have been even better if it had been better edited & proofread. It was full of typos, grammatical errors & mis-spellings which made it difficult to get through. The stories & interviews themselves were fascinating however.

Discovered Ed and Lorraine Warren when I watched The Conjuring. It has been a long time since a film scared me that much and became fascinated by the Ed and Lorraine Warren background and the well known investigations they were involved in. While this book is interesting it wasn't as chilling as I'd hope but it hasn't stopped me from reading more of the couples books

I found this book easy to read,but found that the stories in it were glossed over.A little more detail would have been better.All the stories seemed to end abruptly.Still a good read but compared to the other Warren books disappointing.

The book contained quite a few cases from the thousands the Warrens have investigated over the years. Personally, the book could have done with being more detailed about all of the cases. However, it is a generally interesting, albeit at times quite frightening, read.

Wow what a book!

I am having the kindle version of Ghost Hunters (Ed & Lorraine Warren Book 2) The English Edition and so far i really love what i've already read! I am a big fan of Ed an Lorraine Warren since i was a teenager i am in my fifties now! I've started to follow them at the moment when they were a lot in the news because of the Enfield Poltergeist activity in Great Britain, everything what appeared in the newspapers or in books about them i started to collect! Ghosthunter is a very good and useful book! It tells the history how they met eighother and how they started their group to help people with al kinds of paranormal activity or worser! If you are a fan of the "Warren" Family you will absolutely love it! It tells also everything about the dangers of paranormal investigation or (ghosthunting) It's absolutely no game and the book is not a thriller but the real deal! I am almost at the end of the book but i already know that i will buy all the books ! (this book is the 2nd one!)
