I have Philips Hue in almost every room in two homes, and I love 'em. But in the kitchen of my main house, I have these older, under-cabinet, plug-in LED lights...which are not 'smart.' Just turn 'em off and turn 'em on. I like them a lot! But they were the only lights in my places that were not smart...and I wanted the ability to use them via voice. So I thought I'd pull them out and install the Philips Hue light strip, or perhaps the Hue Play - which I really enjoy, placed right over my turntable. Then I saw these smart plugs, and gave 'em a try. Wow! the easiest install of a smart device I have ever done! Perfect! I had two of these up and running, and connected via voice to Google Home in like, 5 minutes. Not a single issue! No login issues, no connecting issues, no linking issues, as in 'Google can't find it,' no 'Sorry, I can't help with that right now...' no issues at all. They just installed perfectly and work perfectly! Incredibly good experience. Now, I can say 'Hey Google, turn on the kitchen lights,' and they come right on. That said, there are differences between using lights with a smart plug, vs. the Hue system. Unlike Hue, they don't 'fade' on and off - they just come right on. And unlike Hue, they won't dim, or change colors. But who cares? They work perfectly. Awesome!

These smart switches are pretty convenient! I got 4 today, installed, tested... and ordered 2 more sets. The only catch, that I don't really like was the ability of the Smart Live app to use both email address and phone number for account, while Google Home (Google Assistant) accept only phone numbers without pointing to that fact. After spending some time trying to connect Smart Live with Google Home, I finally killed the original account, using email address, and created one more with my phone number, then reattached the switches to the new account. Worked like a charm, connected with Google Assistant in a second, then shared this account to another user for convenience. That's why 8 more switches are coming tomy collection in a day.

When I got the hottest speed AT&T offers for wifi, AT&T merged 2.4 and 5.8ghz into a single bandwidth. The AT&T wifi then determines the best bandwidth for your product at any time. In doing so, I can't select the required 2.4ghz for this device and it simply will not work. Seems that these products should not require a specific bandwidth to operate in. Had to return bc nothing I could do would have these smart plugs acknowledge my wifi network.

These hands-free smart plugs are a great piece of innovation. Voice controlling switches are of great use to me. I always ask Alexa to turn off or turn on the lights of my hall or my room. You don't manually have to go there to the socket and take out the plug of an appliance instead I just ask Alexa to do it for me. So they are a great time saver. Sometimes when you're too lazy to get up from your place in bed these plugs are the most essential things that can be there! I use them all the time and have literally forgotten to go to the socket myself. For testing, I had ordered 4 of these pugs but now I plan to order more so that I can place them all over my place. Great device for a decent price!

Very easy to use. I have another set but different brand and this set costs a lot less and i like the feel of it better. Smooth and shiney make it feel like high quality built. Easy to connect to my android PIE and to my alexa devices. Controlling my electronics can't be any easier without these small gadgets. It works with IFTTT as well. Overall, very happy with my purchase this time.

Awesome plugs. Ordered a second set. They work great with Alexa and super easy to setup with my echo dot. I have them controlling lights in multiple rooms. Just ask Alexa to turn on or off

The first one took a little while to set up since we had do download the app, but after that the others installed very fast. Well worth the money.

I like this smart outlet because it makes life easier and more modern.I bought it not only due to its price but also for the remote access.It includes the function those more expensive plugs all have. You could control the devices connect to it on your phones,whatever it is iphones or Android.
