I received the umbrella in a pretty beat up box and considering what I read in other reviews, I was a bit nervous. I was relieved to see that everything seemed to be intact. However, when I went to put it together I discovered that the hardware was missing. On closer inspection it appeared that the base of the umbrella had already been scratched up leading me to believe I did not receive a “NEW” item which seems to be a case recently. Considering I got it during Prime Day, at a very very good price, I am getting what I paid for. With something this big, sending back is more of a pain so I was willing to see if it was still good. I attempted to get the hardware from the manufacturer and sent an email but there is no customer service for the item. I went to a local hardware store and got the 8 bolts and washers needed. The size for the smaller one is not an easy one to find at all so I got one sized above and below to see if it works. It did. So for now the umbrella is up and works. At 10’ it’s very large and, very top heavy, so the stand that came with it is grossly underweight. I am trying decide on the best counterweight measures. I am considering screwing it in to the deck, or sandbags. For now cinder blocks will have to suffice. The umbrella itself is of very good quality. The adjustments and opening process are easy and smooth. Time will tell if the quality will match the low price. But I am concerned as one of the edges is starting to fray (see photo) If you are looking for a nice patio umbrella for a very low price go ahead and get it. But at normal price, I’d look elsewhere.

The. Umbrella itself is quite nice. And provides good coverage;;; but the box it was delivered in came all ripped apart and the hardware (screws and bolts) were missing. I did not feel like going through the hassle of repacking and shipping something this heavy, so I went to the hardware store and bought the missing parts. The stand it comes with will not by any stretch of the imagination support the umbrella when open, and I do not want to deface my customized pool deck with bolt holes, so I found large stones to weigh down the base. It’s unsightly, but at least allows me to use the product. Having better/clearer instructions would also go a long way for operating the unit.

We received the umbrella in a beaten up and damaged box that dearly looked to be opened prior. After opening we found what looked to be a broken returned item. No packaging just parts all jammed in the box. Upon further examination we found broken parts, and screws that looked like they tore thru the plastic ring that supports the top of the umbrella. I understand its a inexpensive unit, but it looks like places where they should have used metal its all plastic. Time to find a higher quality unit.

I was really pleased with how easy this umbrella was to set up, it took under 5 minutes. Everything is really sturdy and made of high quality materials and the crank works smoothly.Taking it down was also a breeze and it folds really compact for easy transport. The blue color is exactly as pictured and does not feel cheap.The instructions were really clear which was great. We love the free hanging design of the umbrella and it makes it more resistant to wind which is awesome. This is a great addition to our outdoor space and we're very pleased with this purchase.

My husband had no trouble setting it up. It's very easy to use. It provides great coverage of our picnic table and the adjustable angle is nice for long periods outside to adjust as the sun is moving across our yard. It is very heavy so the stand does not hold it's own weight and it requires an base. We purchased a base that holds sand and put 50lbs in and it seems very steady. We have extra sand in case it starts to wobble in windier weather. Overall, very satisfied with purchase, highly recommend.

I bought a bunch of those sandbags they make for this problem thinking they would help keep the giant umbrella down and attached somehow to the deck. Nothing is heavy enough, Drilling wood bolts into the deck just bent the aluminum railing in even modest in amounts of wind. The sand bags they built just to 'remedy the problem' arrived so late, I went over the umbrella time return time limit, and was not able to return the umbrella from hell.As I was writing this, I spotted a few of my neighbors and asked them to come over and see if they had any use for it. None did. Does a product like this just need to be thrown out? It was over $150. I wonder if you guys will let me return the sand bags even.

This umbrella is perfect for over the table in our front yard. It was so easy to assemble that my husband had it put together before I could offer to help him. It's sturdy, but not too heavy for me to lift. It doesn't come with a base, but I knew that when I ordered it so we just use bricks to hold it down. This is absolutely worthy the price and we are so happy with it. The quality is wonderful.

Got this for an upper outside deck in my backyard. Provides just the right amount of shade needed to still be able to enjoy our deck in the summer. My son helped me get it together. We’re in a bit of a windy place, so my only recommendation If you are too would be to make sure you bring it down every night so it doesn’t get banged up or lift up and damage other things. Great buy, good price.
