EC90 Carbon Fiber Flat Bar Mountain Bike Handlebar MTB Riser Bar Lightweight Bicycle Handlebars for Downhill Cycling 31.8MM

I bought these for my kids bike (Orbea Laufey 27 H20). The aluminium bars that came with the bike were too wide and I thought I could get some narrow lightweight carbon bars until she grew into the bike.I took a chance on these as I thought it's only a kids bike, she's not heavy, and she won't be doing days in the bike park like me.I used a torque wrench to tighten the stem up, making sure to turn the bolts a 1/4 turn at a time to maintain even pressure. Before I got near the 5Nm torque setting of the wrench (5Nm is std for carbon bars and also written on the bars themselves), I could actually hear the bar splintering and cracking as I was tightening the bolts!The bars are now crushed where the stem clamps. You can now deform the area with pressure from your thumb and forefinger!Needless to say there is no way I would trust these bars on my kids bike.You really do get what you pay for. The carbon bars on my enduro MTB cost me £120 and are downhill certified, which gives you an idea of just how cheap these are. I should've known.

Finishing isn't perfect with cosmetically slightly patchy resin, but they're extremely light and seem strong enough for road-use. Pretty amazing for the price, and I'd have these over cheap aluminium bars. Just remember not to over-tighten the clamp-bolts on carbon-fibre...

Very rough finish no comparison with the seatpost previously purchased.Used wet and dry sandpaper and a fine lacquer to match finish of seatpost.Was 1/3 the weight of my previous handlebars (aluminium) and less vibration to my arms.

I took a gamble on these as I wanted to try a flat bar on my gravel bike. Bars are something that I don’t normally go cheap on because it doesn’t bear thinking about if they were to break. Hence me buying a cheap bar to try. However I’m that impressed with these bars that I will be using them all the time. They are super stiff and although they don’t cushion out the bumps quite as good as an expensive bar they work just fine.

I have the riser version of these bars and was so impressed with those I bought these flat bars for my cross country bike.They are super light and strong!One piece of advice would be to make sure to use a torque wrench to tighten them up (4nm)I highly recommend these bars!

Excellent product. Very light in keeping with genuine carbon fibre. Used for a drop to flat road bike conversion. Worked a treat with r770 shifters and r550 btake levers. Was hesitant at first because of such a low price but I cannot fault it.
