I'm not sure why they required me to purchase 10 yards, when they came in two 5-yard pieces.I use about 8-12 inches of this in a nursing blanket the mother can strap around her neck. The boning is used so she can see her baby. It keeps the blanket away from the baby's face, yet gives everyone privacy. I found the tutorial to make one on Pinterest.~a
