Let me be clear in saying that all of the iPad mini cases suffer from this: the cover is really poorly mad. It's obvious that the hard back case and the cover are manufactured separately and then put together; while the hard back is excellent, the cover is really poorly sized and overhands all three edges (not at the spine) significantly. It's annoying and makes the iPad awkward to hold when it's closed.Anyway, the 3 star review might seem harsh, but if they priced it $10 more than the $5.99 alternative, I would have hoped they had a slightly better fight and design. For $16, this is not a very good value and a very average case. There's no reason to purchase this over the less expensive alternatives.

The metallic magenta is stylish and the color is very pretty. It fits the iPad Mini 5 perfectly. All of the holes line up correctly. There are no problems with accessing the lightning port, volume buttons, power button or audio jack and the speakers are completely unobstructed. The magnetic closure works reasonably well. The cover does bow a bit when sitting in my bag, as it's fairly thin and flexible, but this also keeps it feeling fairly light when on the go. The tri-fold design allows you to use the cover as a stand and it works fine, as long as you aren't too much pressure on the iPad. I wouldn't use it when drawing with the Apple Pencil, but for watching a video, it works just fine. Overall, I like this case and would buy it again.

I love my new case for my iPad mini 5. It has a very snug fit and is very light weight so it doesn’t add extra weight to the iPad mini. The magnetic closure is very strong so it goes into the sleep mode right away. The magenta color is exactly as shown and the color is very pretty. I would definitely buy this case again.

I feel the case will protect the iPad very well. I like the cut outs, color and over all design. But, it is much Thicker then expected. To me, the thickness adds to the weight which takes away from the point of having a mini and it’s lightness. With that one flaw, i don’t feel it’s a big enough flaw to return. I will keep because I do like everything else about it.

I bought another case that said it fit the iPad mini 4 & 5 gen, but it didn't fit. One of the case's edges was pressing on the "volume up" button. So, it was great to get this case and see it fit like a glove! It works as advertised and is a great value at the price.

This iPad Mini 5 case is perfect. I thought it might be slippery but it isn't. The magnets are strong and the cover closes securely. I feel safe putting my iPad in it.

I wanted a thinner and lighter case for my IPad mini5 and this one provides just that. My previous case was good but a bit bulky and not as light as I wanted for outside use. This case is a good fit and the magnetic closure works just fine. The camera lens opening give a full screen view. It's only weak point is the stand which does work but as this cover is a two panel vrs three panel set it, its stability is on the lighter side. Its good for viewing/reading but a bit shaky if you put too much pressure on the screen. This is an ok compromise for me as I wanted the benefits of a thinner/lighter cover and you cant do that without some design concessions. Im pleased with the cover as well as the smooth plasticized material. There's a pretty wide range of color choices, mine was the dark blue. Im pleased with the cover and would recommend it.

I had this case for less than a week and today noticed that there are scratches on the corners of my ipad. I can also see that the inside of the case is worn out at the corners from the friction of taking the ipad out. I do take the tablet out once in a while depending on how Im using it so this is NOT working at all. Its actually outrageous that my brand new ipad now has scratches because of a cheap and badly designed cover.
