I originally purchased these for my 1.5 year old to work on her motor skills. After reading an article on a parenting app I have, I saw that she was supposed to be able to stack 3-5 blocks on her own. We did not really have anything for her to work on this skill. I had originally seen these blocks at Walmart, and they looked promising. They were cheaper on Amazon so I decided to order them here. The colors are bright and vibrant. They have have smooth edges and are easy to clean with a Lysol wipe after being in mouths. I did not like the box, so I purchased a $2 plastic storage container to put them in.Since she began playing with these, she can now stack 5 blocks, count to 6, and can hand you which color you ask for. I do recommend always supervising this activity at this young of an age purely because some of the pieces are so small that she can fit the whole piece in her mouth.Her half sister is 6 and also enjoys playing with these and building castles!These blocks will be used for years to come and promote imaginative play and provide opportunities for learning colors, counting, and fine motor skills. I recommend having this versatile toy for your kiddos!
