Diamond of California, Chopped Walnuts, 8 Ounce

I just LOVE these walnuts! I use them in a couple of the salad recipes that I created in my book Frugal Feasts - Sumptuous Savings for the Pickiest Palates that is selling here on Amazon. One is a Kale salad with pears and walnuts with a citrus dressing and the walnuts give the salad that extra crunchiness that brings a punch into that citrus flavor. They are great to snack on at night before bedtime and also to top your oatmeal with in the morning. I put honey, raisins and walnuts in my oatmeal and it tastes so wonderful!

This is the perfect size when you buy the large bags it always seems they get funky before you can use the mall it’s easy to go through this bag in a week or so and then open a fresh bag it’s well worth the extra little bit of money. Plus they’re good and already measured if baking

Two brands competing for the Walnut market. This is the first one; the other is a latecomer. I like both.Useful for my recipes, but really expensive (not Amazon's fault), especially around the holidays. It is still a quality product though and I don't plan on stopping my usage of it.

I love to eat walnuts and cranberries. These are fresh tasting walnuts and I like that they are chopped. Now I have a healthy and good tasting snack that is easy to prepare.

Add to salads, very good

The price is affordable and the walnuts are fresh.

They are chopped to the perfect size for cookies and salads which saves me the trouble. They taste like walnuts should. There is nothing exceptional about them but I certainly would buy them again.
