It looks awesome like it just came through a time machine from the old wild West! It is a simple keyed safe. I didn't want one that relies on batteries. This is simple, well made, fits in small spaces and fireproof. Love that it has holes in it for bolting it down. Definitely need to because it's not all that heavy.Don't let the one negative review scare you away. This is far better than most of the small safes on Amazon!

Safe arived damage packaging broken , inside floor tray cracked and folded in place , small top panel hanging with black tape on either end ..... no pleased At all

I bought this directly from Stock & Field, a Big Box Store that was liquidating items and blowing these out at below $150. It is a well constructed strongbox/personal safe weighing in around ~ 35lbs or so, made by manufacturer Rhino Safes.Interior dimensions are approx. 12.5"L X 8"W X 7.5"D, so it's definitely roomy enough for securing a reasonable amount of valuable jewelry, or a single firearm w/ammo inside, along with some smaller misc. items. Has a fire rating of 1400 F for 30min, with an expandable seal around the door. Has two holes drilled thru the bottom designed for bolting it down. that are covered over by the bottom fabric lined fireboard panel.I like the antiqued and subdued look, as it does not look garish like some modern small office safes and blends in nicely with my dark bedroom furniture. Comes with two keys and an instruction manual.There are some positive reviews on YouTube about this particular item.Although the strongbox/personal safe came well packaged inside its cardboard box, the outer cardboard does not seem quite as robust as other cardboard's, which may account for the review I read citing damage upon receiving.
