Wireless Camera, Baby Monitor WiFi IP Surveillance Camera HD 720P Nanny Cam Video Recording with Pan Tilt Remote Motion Detect Two Way Audio and Night Vision

I got this camera around July and have had it in my living room since. I rent and do not feel comfortable knowing workers could be in my apartment without me there so I have it as extra security. This is the first security camera I have had so I can not really compare it to anything but overall I think it is pretty good. It was easy to set up through my homes wifi. I do not keep it plugged into the router but you can if you like. The app is the only reason I did not give it five stars. The app is how you set up your settings (continuous recording or motion detecting), watch recordings, or watch live video. When on the main page (picture 3) where you can watch the live video there are also controls to move the camera around without you physically near it so you can check things out a little more if need be. You can also hear people through the camera and talk through it. I find that to be a great setting if using it as a pet or child camera. The night mode is a nice quality I can clearly see everything going on still (picture 1). You can set the camera up for either continuous recording or motion detecting. I chose motion detecting at first but it is very sensitive, there are times when I have gone through the recordings to realize the motion detector was only going off because of a change in light from outside or from my neighbors closing their doors (it also starts recording for sound). I did four stars because when trying to playback your recordings it can be a little troublesome. For instance, if you wanted to look at 5 pm last Thursday, you could easily go to the playback tab (picture 4) and from there, there is a calendar that you could select the date (easy enough!). Then the trouble starts, you would have to page through all the later recordings from that day until you came to the time you wanted. A lot of the motion detecting recording only last for 22 seconds if a person is just passing in the room or something. If you choose the wrong recording and try to go back it will take you all the way back to today and you will have to repeat the process all over again. It is more annoying than anything because a full day of the recording could leave you with well over 100 pages of recordings and you can only skip through one page at a time (that's a lot of just clicking the next arrow). If the app would work the small kinks out I would have no problem giving this camera a 5-star review because for the price I think it works great!

I was searching for a decent baby monitor camera to keep in my infant baby's room and tried this camera.Having no experience in setting the wireless cameras before I was able to follow the instructions provided and it was easy to follow step by step.Initially I tried to setup using the WiFi but the camera was not able to connect to the server to complete the setup process, I tried multiple times using WiFi but no luck so I connected to the Ethernet cable and was able to complete the setup process without any issues.After that I disconnected the Ethernet cable and connected to the WiFi and the camera worked like a charm. Am able to control everything from the mobile app (like night vision, brightness, contract, etc.,). This camera is very handy when you are in another room or kitchen and when the baby is sleeping you can watch the baby from mobile app. It also has the two way voice communication so that you can talk to the kids or listen if the baby is crying.Pros -1. Great camera. This was my first WiFi camera and I was hesitant to enter this market and spend a ton of money. I was not let down! I love the ability to pan the camera up/down/left/right through the app on my phone. I don't have to worry about perfect placement. The video quality is great on my iPhone and I can even pinch to zoom in. I've had the camera a week now with no complaints yet. Comes with a wall mounting accessory which I tried out, and allowed me to get it off my nightstand, freeing up space. Setup was also easier than I expected. My biggest obstacle was resetting my home router WiFi password for the 2.4Ghz network, which I couldn't remember. The camera does not work on 5GHz, so keep that in mind.

We had trouble setting it up because our wifi was not compatible. It takes an older version. But we hooked it up thru ethernet and it works. We have it set up to face the washer and dryer in the basement so I can see when they are done and ready to be changed without having to run down to check only to find they aren't finished yet. Works nicely for that. Sound test we did did indicate it does have 2 way sound.

The Lefun 720p Wireless WiFi Surveillance Camera works great for my purposes.It works in low light and you can set a schedule on it to tell it when to record and when not to. You can have it record continuously or just on motion and you can set the motion sensitivity.It even has a mic so you can listen in and a speaker so you can talk.Only issue I have had is some times it will disconnect from the network. I am not sure if it's the device or my network that is the issue, but that is the only reason I dropped it from a 5 to 4 star review.

This camera is a great addition to my home security system. I am using this as my main interior camera and it has great 720p HD picture, even better than my other camera (Not listing brand) that claims to be 1080p.This is the only camera that I own which can pan and tilt and the function works great with the app. Two way audio is a nice plus as well. The motion sensor isn't as sensitive as I would like however since I have other cameras guarding the perimeter of my house, this isn't a huge deal.All in all this is a great camera for the price and has been working great for me in the last month. I would recommend this camera for anyone looking in this price range.
