Bought these to use as taillights for the modification from a taillight bulb to brake light bulb to give a bigger/brighter brake light on my 240z. Worked so well, I ended up doing the brake and tail light in them for a nice glowing taillight and converted all of the bulbs (except turn signals) into brake lights. These things worked great.The clips are perfect for a slim mounting point, I just wish there were more of them. Had to use some panel bond to ensure they stayed put as I ran out of clips.The length of the housing and the LED strip can also be cut to suit. I just stuck with the pattern of 3 LEDs and it worked with no problem.Only problem I ran into is the wiring is not adequate gauge to support connecting these in parallel. You need a larger feed wire before splicing into multiple strip section.Other than that, couldn’t be happier.

you get what you pay for, these are cheap so they're going to be cheaply made but they work and they're very bright! they're durable, they're waterproof.in-depth the product is a thin LED strip inside of an multi use rubber stretchy material with shield on both ends that have a little silicone. the wires are very lightly soldered to the strip and can come loose if you are rough with the product, but you are able to solder them back on easy if that were to happen.all-around great product I have bought a bunch of these!!

I cut and soldered these to act as extra brake lights for my Jeep ZJ. The previous LED strip was advertised as UV resistant but yellowed and cracked within a year. This set is the highest quality and I am very impressed. The length was a little too long but I was able to cut the case and strip to length and reseal with caulk. The LEDs are so small and so close together its looks very good quality.

Fuse keep blowing. Very cheaply made. Inspected first before installing.

I gave this 3 stars overall because I have had to buy 2 sets thus far, very chincy wiring connection to the l.e.d. strip inside the white covering. I feel this is a main connection to whole product and shouldve been held on a little better.. Overall brightness is great, wouldn't recommend having only these as a main headlight but work great as a seconddairy light source for foglight applications (as I did) . Overall a good buy for the money. I am satisfied but feel as I might have to buy more for future applications..

While these do work I would just caution you that they're more of a hot pink than a deep red. If you're using these behind a red tail light lens they will look great. But unfortunately the red LEDs are encased in a white silicone tube that when it diffuses the light it kind of turns out the red for some reason and ends up looking pink

Item works good just wish they hand more bracket in the kits 3 for each side isn't enough.
