Cover Me Glider Chair Cover (Chair NOT included), Chocolate Dot

I scored in a big way when I found an 8-year-old Dutalier chair locally for next to nothing, but the original cushions showed eight years of use by a mom and her growing child. My efforts to clean the cushions were less than totally successful and even though the chair "sat" well and glided perfectly, I didn't quite like the still slightly stained look of the original sage green material on the cushions. I took a chance and ordered the soft green luxe covers (and took advantage of the open box option from Amazon Marketplace for a price under $70). They arrived in two days, as promised, and were brand new.As you'd expect from cushion covers, it took some effort to get them on and situated on the chair but it was doable. The ottoman cover has elastic on all four sides but the hook-and-loop system still works fine to keep the cushion in place. The arm covers include the side pockets but they really aren't accessible from the chair, and I don't need them anyway. The photo doesn't even show the side pockets but there is actually material on the outside of the armrest supports. I may take a photo and post it. There are buttom holes through which the snaps on the armrest covers can be attached to the chair frame. Interestingly, the snaps are not accessible through the chair cushions, but there are ribbons with which to attach them to the spindles on the frame, and that seems to work just fine. Zippers on both chair cushions provide a snug fit (a good thing). I'm pleased with how the cushions look, even though you no longer see the seams on the chair back and seat cushions.For other reviewers who noted that you can buy a new chair for nearly the same price - yes, there are cheaper brands but the quality of the chair won't be as good. If you are able to find a top-rated (and therefore higher priced and higher quality) used chair locally and want to keep it for years, then buying these covers is a great option.I'm not a mom, I'm a newly retired senior who has wanted a glider/ottoman set ever since experiencing it in a friend's home. Between the great bargain on an amazing chair and the open box option, my outlay has been under $100. And one more thing: the fabric is wonderfully soft. The original fabric was high quality but a bit on the stiff side. The cover makes the chair inviting and cozy. And even though it now has a slip-covered look, I don't think the covers look or feel "cheap", as a few others have felt.

Cushions fit fine but arm covers do not fit my chair but didn't have arm covers before so ok with that But very disappointed in the color of grey it is more a blue.

I admit that I ordered this cover by mistake because the price is so high I ordered it thinking I would be getting the whole chair and ottoman set. Once the cover came in I realized my mistake and quickly returned it. But honestly, I checked the cover out and there was nothing luxe about it in my opinion and it definitely isn't worth spending over $100 on. I returned the cover and purchased another chair, ottoman and cover set and it equaled the same price as just this "luxe" cover was!

I was looking to replace the cushions because I was given the chair for our nursery and the pattern did not match our decor at all. Cushions for the model I have were over $300 and the cushions I had were fine but just not the best colour.Model # of chair: 943These cushions are really nice and soft and easy to put on. The material may not be for everyone, I doubt I would want this very plushy material in my living room but it is perfect for a nursery.The only real issue I had was that the original cushions snap onto the frame of the chair so they don't slide or fall off but there were no holes cut out of the material in these covers so I had to use the ties provided on the covers. The ties work fine but are not as durable as the thick fabric snap on straps on the original cushions.Also, the arm rest covers did have pre-cut holes but they did not match up with my cushion snaps so I had to cut my own holes in the covers so the arm rests would stay on, as they had no way of tying on.All and all the chair looks great and the cushions are super cozy.

I had been looking for a long time for the perfect covers for my child's Dutalier rocker and ottoman. The chair and ottoman are structurally in great condition, but the previous fabric covers were looking old, worn, and faded. These new covers in a very nice blue are plush and soft and fit over the existing cushions and arms covers. I entirely agree with other reviewers that a little more material in the back cushion cover would better accommodate the Dutalier manufactured cushion. However, this was the best off-the-shelf option I could find (aside from ordering a brand new cushion and cover from Dutalier, which is far more expensive!) So I'm very glad I found these - it really fixed my problem, transformed the look of the chair, and delighted my little boy. Thank you so much!

The cover fit the seat cushion well. It has firm elastic that wraps to the underside of the cushion. It fits well there. The back cushion cover fit well along the top curve and I liked that the cushion was zipped into the cover. However, the cover did not fit the back cushion snugly. It fit loosely, sagged on the sides of the cushion front. I may have, though, put up with the "okay" fit if the fabric hadn't been so awful. I thought it would be general upholstery fabric. Perhaps I am missing it in the description; the fabric is velour. Seriously, it looks like fabric left over from a 1970s track suit. It is also the color of a manatee, which is fine for a manatee but not for a chair in the living room. I returned my set.

The cover seemed to be made nice. But, 1st of all, I wish the listing was a little more bold in stating that this is the cover only, does not include chair. When we realized, we bought a chair elsewhere. When the cover arrived, we did try it for size and found that it was not a tight fit. Looked "baggy" on the chair. We ended up returning. Return was very easy. Thank you for that! I gave it 3 stars because I felt price was too high, and did not fit well. Fabric was nice, and seemed to be constructed well.
