LeMeng Par56 LED Bulb Dimmable 28W Cool Day White Spot Light 6000K NSP 24°Beam Angle GX16D Base, Replace Par 56 300W Halogen Light AC120V

We ordered 24 bulbs to retrofit fixtures using 500-wat Par 56 lamps. Within three weeks, 30 hours of use, one of the 24 bulbs has already burned out. Given the height of the fixtures and the hassle of getting a lift in to reach them, this is not acceptable given the lifespan rating of the bulbs.

The cans are 14ft above the floor and inconvenient to get to, so we try to replace the standard 300 watt par 56 bulbs with this LED par version, which claim in 30,000hrs long lifespan. It's not cheap, but compared to 300 watt halogen, it will pay for itself if it lasts long enough. Will see how long they last, but will definitely buy again based on experience so far.
